
As part of the precautionarymeasures to stop the spread of second wave of novel coronavirus in the state, thePunjab government today announced the postponement of the state educationboard's examinations of classes 10 and 12.
As per information, the boardexams for class XII which earlier scheduled to start from March 22, have beenpostponed to April 20. While the board exams for class X will begin from May 9 insteadof April 4.
Meanwhile, just two days back,the state government announced to close the government, private and aidedschools in the Punjab due to sudden rising of covid 19 cases.
Punjab on Sunday witnessed 1501 coronaviruscases and 20 deaths were reported. The highest cases were reported from Mohaliand Jalandhar.
