PSEB Board exams postponed due to rising covid19 cases in Punjab

Meanwhile, just two days back, the state government announced to close the government, private and aided schools in the Punjab due to sudden rising of covid 19 cases.

As part of the precautionary measures to stop the spread of second wave of novel coronavirus in the state, the Punjab government today announced the postponement of the state education board's examinations of classes 10 and 12.

As per information, the board exams for class XII which earlier scheduled to start from March 22, have been postponed to April 20. While the board exams for class X will begin from May 9 instead of April 4.

Meanwhile, just two days back, the state government announced to close the government, private and aided schools in the Punjab due to sudden rising of covid 19 cases.

Punjab on Sunday witnessed 1501 coronavirus cases and 20 deaths were reported. The highest cases were reported from Mohali and Jalandhar.
