PSEB class 12th Result 2019 was declared on May 11, 2019 Saturday at 12 noon. The result was released on the official website-- pseb.ac.in. This year nearly 3 lakh students appeared for the 12th board examinations in Punjab and attained an overall pass percentage of 85.80%. The Punjab Board regulated the Class 12 board examination from March 1 to March 29, 2019.
Students who were eagerly waiting for their result can check their PSEB Punjab Class 12 Board Result 2019 on the official website. The result has been officially published on pseb.ac.in.
This year a total of 2,69,228 students appeared from the regular stream, out of which 2,32,639 students cleared the exam successfully with 86.41%. This year 21,690 students appeared from the open stream out of which 12,694 cleared the exam with a pass percentage of 58.62%. This year 1,20,022 girls appeared for the exam out of which 1,09,053 girls successfully cleared the exam with 90.86 percent which is much more than the pass percentage of boys which was 82.83 percent. The pass percentage for various streams are as follows: Commerce: 90.37, Humanities: 86.40, Science stream:83.44, Vocational: 89.28 percent.

With brilliant results the following students made a golden path in their respective fields.
• Commerce: Sarbjot Singh - 98.89%
• Arts: Aman - 98.89%
• Science: Muskan Soni - 98.89%
The pass percentage for the rural area is 86.94 percent whereas the pass percentage of the urban area is 85.73 percent.
Gradual Improvement:
There is a slight improvement in the pass percentage of PSEB. In 2017, the pass percentage was 62.36 percent , in 2018 it was 65.97 percent. 25,799 students have got compartment in class 12 result. 10,769 students have failed and the result of 21 students has been withheld by the board.
