Bollywood singer Mika Singh proposed singer Bhoomi Trivedi on the set ‘Indian Pro Music League’. In an episode of a music reality show, Mika asked Bhoomi if she would marry him. The video of the incident is going viral on social media.

According to certain reports, this is only a publicity stunt that is bringing limelight to the show and Mika himself. Several false stories of proposals and marriages are presented to the audience of reality shows for the sake of TRP. This is not new in the world of Television, in fact, has become the most successful trick to attract an audience.

Jasleen Matharu and Anoop Jalota

Big Boss 12 created panic among the audience by featuring the weird but interesting couple on the show. Jasleen Matharu had shared some pictures of her with singer Anoop Jalota. In the viral photographs, Jasleen and Anoop were seen dressed up as bride and groom, leading to speculations about them being married.

In Big Boss' house, the two were allegedly dating. However, the pictures turned out to be just a publicity stunt created by the duo to increase the TRP of the show.

Neha Kakkar and Aditya Narayan

Last year, Neha Kakkar and Aditya Narayan made to news for their marriage. On the set of Indian Idol, parents of both had said that they will surely get them married. Later this also turned out to be a TRP stunt for Indian Idol 11.

Ali Merchant and Sara Khan

The duo also did a wedding drama in Big Boss 4 and was given Rs 50 lakhs for the same. Family members also attended the so-called marriage. However, just a month after leaving the Big Boss house both agreed on calling off the marriage.

Rakhi Sawant and Ratan Rajput

There are plenty of marriage dramas on television in the name of Swayamvar. Several television actors pretended to choose partners on the reality show, later breaking off the marriage.

Rakhi pretended to Choose NRI Ilesh in her Swayamvar. A few months later the couple broke up. In the same way TV actress, Ratan Rajput chose a software engineer as her husband with whom later she separated. Rahul Mahajan also did the Swayamvar and later got divorced.
