
Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Thursdayconstituted an Oversight Committee of Ministers to resolve the grievances ofthe employees of the State Government. The Local Government Minister BrahmMohindra, Finance Minister Manpreet Badal, Social Justice and EmpowermentMinister Sadhu Singh Dharamsot, Medical Education and Research Minister OP Soniand Health and Family Welfare Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu shall be a part ofthe oversight committee, an official spokesperson disclosed today.
The Chief Minister also directed the Chief Secretary toconstitute an Officers' Committee to personally listen to the grievances of theemployees of various departments.
The committee shall comprise of KAP Sinha,Vivek Pratap Singh and Husan Lal, who are all senior IAS officers of the rankof Principal Secretary. The officers' committee shall regularly meet theemployees and attempt to resolve their grievances. It shall submit its reportto the Oversight Committee for appropriate decision.
The spokesperson further stated that PunjabGovernment is committed to redress all the genuine demands of its employees.
