To improve the education sector, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has called a meeting with school principals and teachers. The meeting will be held on May 7.

Notably, this meeting has been called after days of Bhagwant Mann’s visit to Delhi government schools.

As per the notice, no teacher shall take leave on Saturday i.e. on May 7 and if a teacher or principal still intends to take leave on May 7, then permission must be obtained from the Chief Secretary itself.

It may be mentioned that the Bhagwant Mann government is giving more priority to the education and health sectors.

After CM's visit to Delhi's govt schools, Mann said, "It is a great experience to see this prestigious school equipped with world-class infrastructure and highly qualified staff to steer the career of young minds through innovative teaching practices.”

The Punjab Government is preparing to bring improvement in these areas through the Delhi model. The Punjab cabinet on Monday approved the recruitment to 26,454 posts at different levels in various departments of the state government.
