On Wednesday, Police recovered one kg of RDX in Dinanagar Gurdaspur. It has come to light that it was smuggled from Pakistan. According to sources, Police have arrested a young man named Sukhwinder Singh, a resident of Kakkar village of Lopoke area of ​​Amritsar with a pistol. However, during his questioning, he also revealed about the explosive and one kg RDX.

 

Gurdaspur police also arrested two youths Raj Singh and Jasmeet Singh. It is reported that two hand grenades were found from them. The police is not sharing any information regarding this.

 

Actually, the border of Gurdaspur in Punjab is close to the India-Pakistan border. From here, Pakistan can easily cross the border and encourage terrorist activities in India. Pathankot is only 32 kilometers away from here.

 

Also, on Indo-Pak border in Amritsar, a drone was spotted on Wednesday morning which has now been pushed back by the Border Security Force (BSF) after four to five rounds of firing.  The drone was spotted by the BSF personnel near the India-Pakistan border in Punjab's Ajnala. After driving away from the drone, the jawans have launched a search operation in the nearby area.  Agencies started conducting search operations in the area to see if the drone has dropped any objectionable items or weapons.

Earlier in September, a drone was seen near the border of India and Pakistan in Dera Baba Nanak. Apart from this, BSF troops also managed to seize about 9.995 kilograms of narcotics from Naushera, on August 30, 2021.
