Punjab Hockey Federation President Nitin Kohli, Joint Secretary, Punjab Hockey Association, Surinder Bhapa, Hoshiarpur SSP Navjot Mahal and Rajinder Singh Bhavnoor, on behalf of Punjab Sports fraternity today visited MLA Pargat Singh and Tript Rajinder Bajwa to congratulate them on their elevation as Punjab Cabinet Ministers.
They extended their best wishes to the Cabinet Ministers and assured their fulsome support in ensuring growth and development of Punjab.
Notably, the new cabinet ministers will be taking oath today at 4.30pm at Raj Bhawan in Chandigarh. Those taking oath include Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Brahm Mahindra, Manpreet Singh Badal, Vijayinder Singla, Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria, Rana Gurjit Singh, Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, Razia Sultana, Sangat Singh Gilzian, Pargat Singh, Raj Kumar Verka, Bharat Bhushan Aashu, Aruna Chaudhary, Randip Singh and Gurkirat Singh Kotli.

As per information, Navjot Sidhu’s close aide Pargat Singh would be given a big role in Channi’s cabinet. Sources claim that he could be given the Local body ministry as he’s been vocal about the development of urban and rural areas and the new government has to face the challenge of fulfilling poll promises.
