Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday emerged victorious in the Punjab Assembly Elections 2022, with a sweeping victory on 92 out of the 117 assembly seats. AAP will now form its second government in the country after the one led by Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi.

TrueScoop had an exclusive interview with Dr. Satnam, Ayurvedic Doctor at Arogyam Ayurvedic Centre, Jalandhar. He talked thoroughly about AAP and the previous government.

What do you think about the result? Did you expect it?

Yes, it was expected. Everyone wanted a change. In the last 20 years, I have never seen any opportunity given by Congress and others in Punjab. They have made this state a khandar (A building that has been partly destroyed)!! A change was required. I don't know what the hell the previous government was doing. So it is a chance given by people to AAP. Punjab has high hopes from Aam Aadmi Party. Previous parties created so much corruption. Now, let's hope from AAP that they should bring a new culture and try to a change in our state.

Do you think Punjab’s industry/education has hope now that AAP is in power? What will be the projected impact on the industry?

When the government will think of spending at least 75 percent for the state's welfare and tries to end corruption in the state, then everything will fall into its place. They should maintain a proper system to keep a check on the working of the officials.

Do you think AAP will deliver its promises?

It all depends on how Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann think about Punjab, if they work with a positive mindset and honesty they can make a difference. It will depend on the mindset and vision both leaders have got about Punjab.
