In the Hoshiarpur district of Punjab, 32 students and one teacher of the same government school have been found to be Corona positive. These children, studying in a government school in Palahad village on the Punjab-Himachal border, have been infected after coming in contact with one of their teachers, who commutes to school daily from a town in Himachal Pradesh.
 
A few days ago, symptoms of the corona were found in this teacher. On this basis, when the Health Department team took samples of the students and staff of the school, 32 students and another teacher turned out to be Corona positive. When the teachers and the people who came in contact with these children were also tested, the total number of infected people has crossed 100.
 
A teacher posted in Government Senior Secondary School, Palahar, lives in Daulatpur town of Una district of Himachal. On November 13, the teacher became ill. After that, he turned out to be Corona positive on examination. After getting this information, the Health Department decided to conduct tests of 556 students, 22 teachers and three mid-day meal workers studying in Palahar School. In the investigation of the samples of these people, the report of a teacher and 32 students came out to be Corona positive.
 
Palahar is the village of the ruling party Congress MLA Arun Dogra in Punjab. Arun is an MLA from Dasuha assembly seat of Hoshiarpur district. Due to this, the administration became active immediately after receiving the news of Corona in the village.
 
After the arrival of 33 cases of corona from the same school, there is a stir in the health department. The people of the area are also scared, as these students have been in regular contact with other children and family members. The Health Department is making preparations to convert the entire Palahad village into a containment zone. The teams of the department are constantly active in this area.
 
Meanwhile, the Union Home Ministry has also issued an advisory to all the states and union territories regarding the increasing cases of corona and its new Omicron variant. Strict instructions have been given in this advisory that if a person is found to be corona positive, then complete contact tracing should be done. A sampling of all the people who came in contact with him should be ensured.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has given instructions to test the people coming from abroad, especially those coming from African countries. Several cases of the Omicron variant, also known as B-1, have been found in South Africa, Botswana, and Hong Kong. According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the new variant of Corona is more dangerous than the old variant and spreads faster.
