IMD Chandigarh on Saturday issued fresh weather predictions for Punjab. As per the weather department, no districts of Punjab will receive rainfall on July 12, 13, 14, and July 15. However, there might be rainfall on July 16.

Baljinder Singh Maan, self-proclaimed weatherman of Punjab, predicted above-average rainfall in Punjab in July based on his latest analysis. The weatherman claimed, "My accuracy is 90% during winter and summer. In the monsoon season, it drops to 50–60% due to the unpredictable nature of rainfall. On average, my forecasts are about 70–80% accurate."
