Punjabi singer Singga booked for promoting obscenity and gun culture

Bhimrao Yuva Force chief Amandeep Sahota lodged a complaint and said that Manpreet Singh alias Singga was inciting the youth of Punjab to take the wrong path.

A case has been registered against Punjabi singer Singga for spreading obscenity and glorifying gun culture. Police of Thana City Kapurthala have named five people, including the singer, under Section 294, 120B IPC on the complaint of the chief of Bhimrao Yuva Force.

Bhimrao Yuva Force chief Amandeep Sahota resident of Mohalla Shahriyan lodged a complaint with the police and said that Punjabi singer Manpreet Singh alias Singga resident of village Jagniwal Hoshiarpur was inciting the youth of Punjab to take the wrong path by promoting weapons first in his songs.

Now, he has again launched a new song 'Still Alive' about a month back with his team Producer Big.K Singh, Director Amandeep Singh,Virun Verma and Editing man Jatin Arora. This song aired on Punjabi channels are running continuously. The complainant alleged that his song is full of indecency and obscenity is being spread openly in society by using objectionable words. Such songs are not suitable to be heard in the family. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case under section 294, 120B IPC against 5 people including the Punjabi singer.
