Punjab’s new ministers will take the oath tomorrow, these big names can also be in the list; read to know

After the swearing-in ceremony of CM Bhagwant Mann on March 16, the ministers will take the oath tomorrow morning, the first cabinet meeting will be held under the leadership of CM Bhagwant Mann

Aam Aadmi Party is all set to form its new Council of Ministers. The new ministers will take the oath tomorrow at 11 am at Raj Bhawan in Chandigarh. 10 ministers will take the oath and after some time the expansion of the cabinet will take place. There is no formal list of names of the ministers is released yet. But during yesterday’s assembly session some MLAs were seen sitting on the seats of the ministers. 

 There are indications that these MLAs are going to be part of Mann’s new cabinet. These names are Harpal Cheema, Aman Arora, Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Narinder Kaur Bharaj, Prof. Baljinder Kaur, Sarvjit Kaur Manuke, Principal Budhram, Manjit Singh Bilaspur, and Dr. Baljit Kaur. 

There are many big names, which can hold the position of Deputy CM. According to the sources, the former IG Kunwar Vijay Pratap is also in the race of holding a ministry in Punjab’s council. The winner from Amritsar North on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) ticket, Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh is a 1998-batch IPS officer. 

 He resigned after the Punjab and Haryana High Court quashed the probe report filed by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the Kotkapura firing case. He has good career experience. He can be given the home ministry and can look after the control of drug rackets in Punjab.

Aman Arora, From Sunam, recorded the highest victory margin in the Punjab assembly election by defeating Congress Jaswinder Dhiman is likely to become the Deputy CM of Punjab. He became MLA for the second time. 

There are other names in the list including Harpal Cheema, Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Narinder Kaur Bharaj, Prof. Baljinder Kaur, Sarvjit Kaur Manuke, Principal Budhram, Manjit Singh Bilaspur, and Dr. Baljit Kaur who can be given major roles in the council of ministers.

The official list of the Ministers is not released by the Aam Aadmi Party yet. Apart from the CM, 17 ministers can be made in the Punjab government. After the oath ceremony, the first cabinet meeting of Punjab’s new government will be held under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. In the meeting, many important decisions regarding the election announcements can be made.
