3-Idiot's actor R Madhavan has shifted to Dubai for his son
Vedant's training. Vedant is a national champion in swimming and he is looking
forward to participating in the 2026 Olympics.
The reason behind shifting is the non-availability of bigger
pools in Mumbai. He said the larger pools are either closed due to lockdown or
out of their reach.
Madhavan often shares pictures and videos of his son on his
Instagram page. On Vedant's birthday, Madhavan shared a picture and wrote,
"Thank you for beating me at almost everything I am good at and making me
jealous yet, my heart swell with pride. I have to learn so much from you my
boy. As you step into the threshold of manhood, I want to wish you a very happy
16th birthday and hope and pray that you're able to make this world a better
place than we are able to give to you. I'm a blessed father."

R Madhavan is a celebrity who is known for his different
points of view. R Madhavan also lets his son choose whatever profession he wants
to choose.
He thinks that the carrier option Vedant chose for him is
better than what he is doing. He cannot force his son to become an actor and he
does not regret this.
