Raid 2, the latest crime-thriller production in Bollywood, returns Ajay Devgn to the role of IRS officer Amay Patnaik and welcomes back the directorial chair of Raj Kumar Gupta, who had been seen in the previous production of the same name. The film is a follow-up of the 2018 blockbuster and features Riteish Deshmukh as powerful Dada Bhai and Vaani Kapoor in a crucial role.

It was based in Rajasthan and combined politics, power, and black money- a formula that gave it a solid box office run.

The film is now accessible on Netflix in Hindi, Spanish, and Portuguese. As this OTT release is global, Raid 2 reaches a wider audience, exposing the story to multinational demographics in various regions and different languages.

However, surprisingly, the release passes over prominent Indian regional languages such as Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada and instead welcomes foreign languages such as Spanish and Portuguese. It is less of a flaw and more of a misplaced priority when it comes to native language options in a movie with Indian soil and a national appeal.

Supported by T-Series and Panorama Studios, Raid 2 has music scored by Amit Trivedi and a cameo by Tamannaah Bhatia in a dance sequence. Filmed on a massive scale with a roots-grounded narrative, the movie now embarks on its digital life and seeks to reach new audiences that were excluded during its screen presentation.
