Meanwhile, the man on the floor, whose pants have been pulled down sighs in pain and the third man gets the screwdriver after dipping into a bottle of petrol and then goes on to insert it into the man's rectum.

The video of an incident is from Nagaur, Rajasthan, depicts the brutality and is actually sickening. Although, the video is few days old, but, is going viral on internet. After being accused of theft, the video possesses two young Dalit men, brutally tortured and beaten up in Rajasthan's Nagaur. The incident took place at a vehicle service centre in Nagaur's Karnu, which falls under the Pachauri police station area.

However, on February 16 the attack took place, the police on February 19 registered FIR after videos of the internet surfaced over internet. 

The two Dalit men had gone to the centre to get their vehicle serviced. There, they were accused of stealing Rs 50,000 from the service centre's vault. A group of men then went on to ruthlessly beat up and torture the two men.

The police have registered an FIR under sections 342 (for wrongful confinement), 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint), 143 (unlawful assembly) of the Indian Penal Code and various sections of the SC/ST Act. Seven accused have been named in the FIR, including Bheemsingh, Aidan Singh, Jassusingh and Sawaisingh. So far, the police have arrested five men in the case.

 

When asked about the attack, Nagaur Superintendent of Police Vikas Pathak, "Investigation is on... strictest action will be taken against those who were responsible for this incident."

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday commenting on the video of two young Dalit men being tortured in Rajasthan said "horrific and sickening" and told the Ashok Gehlot government to bring the accused to justice. Gandhi's tweet came shortly after the video went viral on internet.

However, it is being said that the video was shot by one of the accused. Soon after the incident, BJP leaders started to criticise the act and blamed Congress leaders and other Dalit faces of the party and the opposition.

Rahul Gandhi in a tweet wrote, "The recent video of two young Dalit men being brutally tortured in Nagaur, Rajasthan is horrific & sickening. I urge the state Government to take immediate action to bring the perpetrators of this shocking crime to justice."

The attack has been also condemned by the Congress’ Scheduled Caste team and asked Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to investigate the case and punish the culprits involved in it.
