Bollywood actor Ranvir Shorey is an actor who doesn't feel shy to voice out his opinions on controversial issues. Ranvir in an interview with Hindustan Times spoke on drugs, nepotism, and even on the recent developments on Sushant Singh Rajput's case.

Talking to the media channel, Ranvir Shorey gave his opinion on the debate of legalizing CBD Oil. The actor asked the Indian government to not only legalize the CBD oil but also marijuana as it has some essential medicinal values and various countries have already legalized it.

On being asked whether his roles have been given to any star kids, the actor responded yes there were few times when he was given the script but later it was given to some other actors including star kids.

On the recent developments of Sushant Singh Rajput's case, Ranvir said, "I think there is a lot of anger still about his death especially on social media. The only way that anger will subside if the agencies which are now investigating the circumstances around his death come up with some answers to what exactly happened around his death. Till that time happens ideally people should stay quiet and give it a little dignity but I don't think in the age of social media that is going to happen. People are just gonna rave and rant till they feel they have answers."

"Social media should not be seen as the reflection of the real-world because it has no accountability. And news media is doing huge mistake of taking social media hashtags as topics for news. I think that's a terrible practice," added Ranvir.
