Rishabh Pant seems unstoppable in shocking the audience with his performance. The Indian wicket-keeper delivered an incredible shot behind the stumps to dismiss Ollie Pope in the second session of the day 2 of India and England test series.

By taking this wicket, Mohammad Siraj got his wicket in test cricket on the homeland.

Siraj bowled short and down the leg side, which should have been an easy pick for Pope. But the batsman shuffled up, giving an edge to Rishab Pant, who took a dive to his left and although it looked like the ball would pop out of his gloves as he landed on the ground, Pant watched his control as he managed to roll the glove on to his face, then his chest and Alas! Pant completed that amazing catch.

Legendary Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar and former India wicket-keeper batsman Deep Dasgupta too were mesmerised with Pant’s catch.

During the commentary, Gavaskar said, “This is magical from Rishabh Pant, diving to his left.”

Dasgupta described how Pant controlled the throw of his body in the air by taking just one step towards his left.
