Rishabh Pant declared first The ICC has named Rishabh Pant as the best player of the month. He won the title by overtaking Joe Root and Paul Sterling in this race. This is the first time that the ICC is picking the best player of the month. The Indian wicket-keeper-batsman played superb innings twice in Australia.
