The criminals fled after looting a car near Guru Amardas School in Model Town, Jalandhar. Lakshya, a resident of Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar, stated that he had left the house to buy vegetables and retrieve the printout. As soon as he started sitting in the car in the street next to the Gurudwara after buying veggies and having the print out, three robbers appeared in front of him and stopped him.

The robbers demanded him to get out of the vehicle. When he refused, he pulled out his revolver and warned him to come out quietly or he would have to fire. Lakshya got into a fight with him during this time. The robbers then escaped with the automobile. The incident was then reported to the police. The cops are reviewing the CCTV footage that has been deployed around the area.

According to police officials, the footage from CCTV cameras put around the area has been scanned. A young person is seen grabbing the key and scuffling with the target. However, no pistol can be seen in the hands of the youths who perpetrated the crime. He stated that the location of the event contains stores and a busy road.

There would have been a commotion in the market if the car robbers had guns in their hands. Officials also stated that people and cars were passing by at the time of the event. He claimed to have viewed the CCTV from every angle, but the gun was not apparent. The police are presently examining the situation.
