In its fight against COVID 19, India is not leaving any stone unturned. While cases of the deadly virus continue to rise in the second wave, vaccination is available, and hundreds of citizens have received their dose of COVID 19 so far. In fact, several celebrities, including Dharmendra,Salman Khan,Sharmila Tagore,Mohanlal, Kamal Haasan, Saif Ali Khan have already got their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

, who recently received his first dose of COVID vaccination, is the most recent addition to the list of COVID-vaccinated celebrities.



The acclaimed filmmaker shared the news on social media, along with photos of himself receiving his vaccine jab at the hospital.The Sooryavanshi director took to Instagram to share a photo of himself getting jabbed at Nanavati hospital in Mumbai. In the caption, Rohit stated that the only way to fight the deadly virus is to get vaccinated, and he urged everyone to get vaccinated in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus. In reference to Khatron Ke Khiladi, the adventure reality show he hosts, Rohit Shetty advised them not to be daredevils in real life, and to leave action and stunts for the movies.He penned, “Action and Stunts are for movies don’t try to be a khatron ke khiladi in real life, get vaccinated. It is the only way to fight COVID. Got myself vaccinated today.”

He also posed in front of a ‘I am Covid-19 vaccinated’ board, showing a thumbs up sign to the camera.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the ace filmmaker is anticipating the release of his upcoming film Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, which will be the new entry in his cop universe. In addition, Rohit has collaborated with Ranveer Singh again after Simmba for Cirkus, and the team will soon begin the film's final schedule.
