Roy shared a cryptic post on his Instagram account, in which he mentioned how the words 'bhai' and 'bro' have lost their meaning for him. He wrote that when someone calls him these names, he takes them seriously and expects to be treated with respect. However, he went on to say that he was deceived by someone he considered a brother, and it had hurt him deeply.

The actor also wrote that while material possessions such as money and status can be regained, time, love, respect, and relationships cannot be regained once they are lost. He urged people to be real and not fake in their relationships, and to respect themselves and others.
