When the defamation case was heard last month, Kamaal R Khan's lawyer, Manoj Gadkari, informed the court that his client would refrain from making any further defamatory statements or remarks about Salman until the next hearing date.
Salman had sued Kamaal R Khan for defamation over the latter's criticism of the recently released Hindi film ‘Radhe.'
Salman's lawyer, Pradip Ghandy, told Additional Sessions Judge C V Marathe on Monday that Kamaal R Khan continued to post derogatory tweets despite the assurance. Ghandy said, "This is contempt of court."

After that, an application was filed for Kamaal R Khan to be held in contempt of court. The court heard arguments on the application and adjourned it until June 11 for a new hearing. The court stated that until then, Khan's lawyer Manoj Gadkari's previous declaration shall stand.
For the inexperienced, KRK tweeted that Salman Khan has launched a defamation suit against him because KRK's criticism of his recent film "Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai" has harmed the actor. KRK's postings are well-known for unfairly targeting celebrities and producers. KRK has been known in the past to go after celebrities who, for the most part, ignore his posts.
"I said so many times that I never review film of any producer, actor if he asks me to not review. Salman Khan filed defamation case on me for review of #Radhe means he is getting too much affected by my review. Hence, I won't review his films anymore. My last video releasing today," KRK had tweeted.
