Sardool Sikander passes away, condolences pouring in from Punjabi industry

The Punjabi music and entertainment industry is in shock.

Legendary folk singer of Punjab, Sardool Sikander died at Fortis Hospital, Mohali on Wednesday. As per reports, he was fighting with Covid-19 for nearly two months.

Sardool Singer was the husband of Amar Noori. His wife is also a popular singer and actor. The Punjabi music and entertainment industry is in shock.


Miss Pooja posted on Facebook, "Sad mood Was nd always will be a big fan, Ustad Sardool Sikander ji #legend #sardoolsikander #respect #favorite #khattukdetukde #sadsong #sadfeel #studiosession #tahliwoodstudios."

Rana Ranbir, another Punjabi actor also posted on Instagram and wrote, "Very Shocking. Sardool bhaji. Ki kahley... #Sardoolsikander."

Neeru Bajwa, Punjabi actor posted on Facebook and wrote, "I can't believe this...shocked...speechless. RIP Sardool Ji #SardoolSikander waheguru give strength to his family."

Preet Harpal also expressed his sadness and shock on his demise.

Reportedly, he was born on January 25, 1961 at district Fatehgarh Sahib in Punjab. He also acted in the prominent film "Jagga Daku." His first album became very famous and the song "aagi raodways di laari" left an imprint in the hearts on people.

Hansraj Hans, another folk singer of Punjabi industry also expressed his gried and wishes strength to the family in such extreme times.

Bunty Bains, noted lyricist of the industry posted a picture of Sardool Sikander and wrote, "RIP Legend #SardoolSikander Bhaji."

Preeti Sapru, another legendary artist also cried her heart out on television channels and prayed for strength to the family.
