New Government in Goa led by caretaker CM Pramod Sawant will take the oath of office and secrecy today at Panjim.
Mr. Sawant will take oath for the second time after The BJP's victory in recently conducted elections. The BJP won 20 out of 40 seats in the assembly and is forming a Government with the help of 2 MGP and 3 Independent MLAs.
The ceremony to be held at Swami Prasad Stadium at Panjim is expected to be attended among others by the PM Mr. Narender Modi and the HM Mr. Amit Shah BJP President Mr. JP Nadda and CM'S of BJP ruled states like Mr. Manohar Lal Khattar from Haryana, Mr. Biplob Dev from Tripura, Mr. Bommai from Karnatka among others.
Seven Ministers Mr. Vishavjit Rane, Movin Godunho, Mr. Ravi Nayak, Mr. Nilesh Kabral, Mr. Subhash Shirodkar, Mr. Rohan Khunte, Mr. Govind Gawde and Mr. Antonio Monsorate may also take oath along with.
HM and senior BJP leader Mr. Amit Shah will take a meeting with the newly appointed ministers afterward.
