
Amid the ongoing Covid-19 crisis, the State Bank of India(SBI) on Monday has announced to postpone the prelims exam 2021 for therecruitments of Junior Associate (JA).
The notice, posted on their official website sbi.co.in, statedthat the exam that was scheduled for June will stand postponed until thefurther notice.
The official notice reads, “In view of the Covid-19pandemic, the Preliminary Examination scheduled to be held in June 2021 hasbeen deferred till further notice.”
However, it is being anticipated that the new exam datewill be announced once the situation gets normal. Additionally, the candidatesare advised to check the official SBI portal for the latest updates.
It may be noted here that earlier SBI deferred the examscheduled for Pharmacist Post.
Apparently, SBI released the recruitment notice for thepost of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadreacross India in April 2021. Online applications were invited from April 27,2021 to May 20 2021 for the 5000 vacancies.
Notably, the selection criterion includes three stages-prelims, mains, and language tests.
