SBI Clerk Prelims Exam 2021: Junior Associate exam deferred due to Covid-19

Amid the ongoing Covid-19 crisis, the State Bank of India (SBI) on Monday has announced to postpone the prelims exam 2021 for the recruitments of Junior Associate (JA).  

The notice, posted on their official website sbi.co.in, stated that the exam that was scheduled for June will stand postponed until the further notice.

The official notice reads, “In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Preliminary Examination scheduled to be held in June 2021 has been deferred till further notice.”

However, it is being anticipated that the new exam date will be announced once the situation gets normal. Additionally, the candidates are advised to check the official SBI portal for the latest updates.

Apparently, SBI released the recruitment notice for the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre across India in April 2021. Online applications were invited from April 27, 2021 to May 20 2021 for the 5000 vacancies.

Notably, the selection criterion includes three stages- prelims, mains, and language tests.
