"Let the police do their job": Supreme Court dismisses PIL for CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput's case

The Supreme Court dismissed the plea and said that if they have proofs then they can approach the Mumbai High Court

In a major setback for Sushant Singh Rajput's fans and family, the Supreme Court on Thursday refused to entertain a PIL for CBI Inquiry for Sushant Singh Rajput. As per reports, a PIL was filed which stated that despite having and proves the Mumbai Police is not doing an honest investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput's case, therefore, the Supreme Court should direct for the CBI Inquiry.

The Supreme Court on this dismissed the plea and said that if they have proofs then they can approach the Mumbai High Court but the Supreme Court will not entertain this.

As per ANI, "Supreme Court refuses to entertain a PIL seeking Central Bureau of Investigation probe into Bollywood actor #SushantSinghRajput's death case." While rejecting the PIL, Chief Justice of India Sharad Arvind Bobde said: "Let the police do their job."
