The Bollywood industry is going through a rough phase as the people of India are not tolerating any negative or obscene content when it comes to the Indian Armed forces. Going by the reports of Live Law, the Supreme Court on Thursday granted protection fro arrest to film/TV producer Ekta Kapoor In relation to an FIR registered by Anapurna Police for airing an episode in web series (XXX Uncensored) on Zee 5 which is being promoted by ALT Balaji, a concern owned by her and her mother.

As per reports, the episode showcased the Indian Army in an obscene way. A Bench headed by Chief Justice SA Bobde was hearing a petition filed by Kapoor against the order passed by Madhya Pradesh High Court which refused to quash the FIR against her. 

Ekta has been booked under sections 294 (obscene acts and songs) and 298 (Uttering, words, etc., with deliberate intent to wound the religious feelings of any person) & 34 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 67 (Punishment for publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form) and 67-A (Punishment for publishing or transmitting of material containing sexually explicit act, etc. in electronic form) of the Information Technology (IT) Act, and Section 3 ( Prohibition of improper use of emblem) of the State Emblem of India (Prohibition of Improper Use) Act, 2005.

The FIR also mentions a particular scene that allegedly portrays the Indian Army's uniform in a highly objectionable way.
