In a shocking development, German Airlines Lufthansa averted a major mishap when the pilot was trying to land at Los Angeles Airport (LAX). The Lufthansa flight bounced on the runway twice when the pilot was trying to land the place at the LAX airport. As per US media reports, people present at the spot shot Lufthansa's flight crash landing video and later it went viral on social media.

The viral Lufthansa Los Angeles crash landing video showcases Boeing's jet, the 747-8i, swooping down towards the runway on Tuesday ready to land before disaster strikes. Notably, the flight crash landing reason is still unclear. Footage shows that the moment the back wheels scrape the ground a giant white cloud of smoke flies off into the sky.

As soon as the flight landed on the runway, it bounced off the first time. The pilot thereafter tried to steady the flight. However, the plane again bounced on the runway. As a result, the pilot aborted the landing after the plane bounced for the second time and flew off back into the air.

Ultimately, the Lufthansa flight managed to successfully land after a short time of circling the airport. An official Lufthansa spokesperson was quoted by a leading daily saying, "There were 326 passengers and 19 crew members on board the Boeing 747-8 training flight...Following an assessment by the cockpit crew, a consultation with the technical department on site and in Frankfurt and an initial visual inspection, the aircraft flew back to Frankfurt."
