After a Shaky start there was no stopping for Serena Williams at French Open on Monday. In her first-round match against Russian Vitalia Diatchenko in French Open, Serena Williams was seen in a zebra-striped outfit. The outfit was designed by Nike, previously Serena Catfit outfit at French Open last year twitched controversy. It seems like Serena Williams is back at Roland Garros on Monday making yet another bold statement.

The black-and-white sports dress was complemented by a cape with the words, “mother, champion, queen, goddess” ornamented on it in French.

This tennis sensation took it to her twitter and posted a preview of her French Open-designed look on Sunday. She posted “Let the Roland Garros begin. Here is my French Open look designed by @virgilabloh and @Nike.

Due to specific health issues Serena had to play the game in catfit outfit last year. The actually controversy began when French Tennis Federation president Bernard Giudicelli commented that Serena outfit was “disrespecting the game.” 

The 37-year-old Williams is ranked No.10 in the world. Since the birth of her daughter Serena reached two Grand slam finals at Wimbledon and the U.S. Open. Her last Grand Slam win was in 2017 at Australian Open before her maternity leave.
