Shahrukh Khan starrer 'Pathan' shoot stalled after Director Siddharth Anand Slapped by Assistant: Reports

As per reports, the assistant was continuously breaking the no camera, no mobile rule on the set

Producer Aditya Chopra has taken seriously the incident of an assistant director slapping Director Siddharth Anand on the sets of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer upcoming film 'Pathan'. According to reports, he has tightened the security of Yash Raj Studios. At the same time, orders have also been given to investigate the incident that happened on the set.

Entertainment web-portal Spotboye quoted Aditya Chopra's close friend who said, "This is something that has never happened before, and that too on the sets of a Shah Rukh Khan starrer. Adi isn’t taking it lightly. He has ordered a probe into the incident.  Reports also state that Shahrukh Khan is worried about the female crew working on sets of Pathan, as the brawl between Siddharth and the Assistant Director was very loud and abusive.

As per reports, the assistant was continuously breaking the no camera, no mobile rule on the set. He did not stop even after Siddharth stopped him. In fact, he started abusing him. Angrily, when Siddharth slapped him, he also turned back and slapped him.

Reportedly, the assistant has been fired from the project. Meanwhile, Siddharth is also set to direct Fighter with Deepika and Hrithik Roshan in lead roles.
