Shakib Al Hasan, Bangladesh's star all-rounder, lost his cool twice in a Dhaka Premier League match on Friday. In a few of moments of craziness, the left-arm spinning all-rounder lost himself entirely twice in the space of two overs. See video here how he kicked the stumps.

Shakib kicked the stumps in fury when the umpire dismissed his LBW plea while playing for Mohammedan Sporting Club against Abahani Limited. The umpire then called the game off owing to rain, and Shakib stormed down to the pitch, uprooting the stumps and smashing them into the ground, before engaging in another violent debate with the umpire.See video here how he uprooted the stumps.

Shakib was reportedly irritated with the umpire after the game was called off due to rain after 5.5 overs, despite the fact that the D/L/S method would have come into play after 6 overs, and he slammed the umpire for not allowing one more delivery to be bowled.

Shakib's actions were harshly criticised by fans, analysts, and those who had been following the game for a long time, who stated it was odd to say the least.

Shakib eventually apologised for his outburst during the match.

"Dear fans and followers, I really apologise for losing my cool and disrupting the game for everyone, especially those watching at home." An experienced player like me should not have reacted in that manner, but it does happen, unfortunately, sometimes against all odds.

"For this human error, I apologise to the teams, management, tournament authorities, and organising committee. I'm hoping I will not repeat this again in the future. Thank and  love you all "In a statement, Shakib stated.
