Shantanu Mukul indicted in “Toolkit” case, was present at Tikri border from Jan 20 to 27

A Delhi court has issued a non-bailable warrant against him related to the “toolkit” document case.

Shantanu Muluk, a Pune engineer wanted in the ‘toolkit’ case, was present at the farmers’ protest site on Tikri border in Delhi between January 20 to 27, Delhi police source said on Tuesday. 

A non-bailable warrant has been issued by a Delhi court against Shantanu and Mumbai-based lawyer-activist Nikita Jacob after the police claimed that they were had created the Google document shared by Swedish teen activist Greta Thunberg on Twitter relating to the farmers’ protest which also had references to violence against the Indian state.

Shantanu and several other activists were present in Delhi on January 26 when the Red Fort violence broke out during the farmers' tractor rally, said police sources. 

Disha Ravi, a Bengaluru-based climate activist, alleged to be one of the editors of the “toolkit”, who had sent it to Thunberg on Telegram app has been sent to police custody. 

In a press conference on Monday, Delhi Cyber cell JC said that Shantanu and Nikita had attended the zoom meeting with Mo Dhaliwal - founder of a pro-Khalistani group - Poetic Justice Foundation to prepare for the action that was to take place on R-Day. 

Zoom has been directed by the police to find out if there were other participants present during the virtual meet and whether Thunberg had attended it.

Earlier, the police claimed that the 'toolkit' was created and meant to spread conspiracy action behind the violence that on Republic Day. 

Thousands of farmers have been camping at several border points in Delhi protesting against the new farm laws passed by the Centre, clashed with police, damaged public and private properties and attacked the Red Fort, where a religious flag was hoisted on the Republic Day. Over 500 police personnel were injured and one protester died.
