Trouble seems to be mounting on Republic TV Editor-In-Chief Arnab Goswami after his WhatsApp chats with former BARC CEO Partho Dasgupta accessed by Mumbai Police leaked online. Arnab's WhatsApp chats with Partho consist of 500 pages of documents, therefore every day a new revelation goes viral on social media.
While many of them startling, but what raised the eyebrows of most of the people is when it was revealed that Arnab had knowledge of Balakot Airstrikes even before it took place. Arnab having such kinds of information is a big deal, those information were supposed to be confidential. That information was supposed to be private between PM Modi and Indian Air Force Chief.
Now, political parties have started to jump into Arnab Goswami's case. In an obvious manner, the NCP and Shiv Sena have slammed the Central government and called for Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) level probe. In a statement released on Monday by NCP Chief Speaker Mahesh Tapas, the party alleged that the chats revealed that national security concerns were used to acquire TRP.
"The question also arises how Arnab was privy to such sensitive information. The Ministry of Home Affairs has to identify the source and immediately take action," he said.

After this, Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut also slammed the Central government and asked whether Arnab will be stripped from his power and position or not?
Talking to the media, Raut said, "The types of chats which have come out, I think it is a threat to our country's internal security. If a soldier or military or defense gets caught with even a map or similar kind of piece of paper, then he gets court-martialed. What will the Union Home Minister and Defense Minister do? They ask questions again and again from us, so now I would like to ask the questions. Will you now court-martial him (Arnab)?
