Sidharth Shukla – a star that went too soon! Unfortunately, we lost one of the most loved actors very early. Be it daily soaps or movies or his relationship with his close friend (or rumoured girlfriend) Shehnaaz Gill, Sidharth was always in the limelight. He has always impressed his fans and followers with his charming looks, strong persona and acting skills. Woefully, the actor lost the world at the young age of 40 on September 2, 2021.
December 12, Sunday marks the 41st birthday of the late actor. On this day, we want to reflect back on his best performances on-screen and his personal life!
Sidharth was born on 12 December 1980 in Mumbai. Sidharth held a degree in interior designing but continued his career as a model. In the modelling field, Sidharth clinched the runner-up position in Gladrags Manhunt and Mega model Contest in 2004. He was then featured in a music video of Ila Arun, titled “Raishm ka Rumal”. And In 2005, Sidharth made India proud after winning the World Best Male contest in Turkey.
After winning the contest, Sidharth moved to TV to test his acting skills, he ruled there too. His first acting role was in “Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na” and then he worked in many daily soaps including, “Jaane Pehchaane se Ajnabee” and “Love U Zindgi”. Sidharth was also seen in a few episodes of the horror drama serial “Aahat”. But daily soap “Balika Vadhu” gave him fame and popularity, he was also bagged awards and nominations.
He was a lead actor in Colors’ 2017 daily soap “Dil Se Dil Tak…” but he left the serial in-between.
Sidharth also made it to the big screen. Because of his acting skills, he was featured in Karan Johar’s “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania,” which also featured Varun Dawan and Alia Bhatt. Sidharth was seen as Angad Bedi, Alia’s fiancé. He won the Breakthrough Supporting Performance (Male) in the 2015 Stardust Awards.
Apart from acting, he has also amazed his fans in reality shows. He showed his dance moves in “Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 6,” whereas his adventurous side in “Khatron Ke Khiladi 7”. But he was most loved in Bigg Boss 13, in which he was seen in his angry avatar and his friendship with Shehnaaz Gill stole the limelight. He was the winner of the show along with the winner of millions of hearts!

Sidharth then made his OTT debut and was seen in Broken But Beautiful 3 as Agastya Rao.
Apart from this, Sidharth’s personal life was always in the limelight. Either his relationship with Shehnaaz Gill or his dearest mom, he was always in news. The actor has many times expressed his love towards his mother on social media.
