Bhagwant Mann's Punjab Police has been active in Delhi-NCR since morning. After arriving at the house of former AAP leader Kumar Vishwas this morning, Punjab Police has now reached the house of former AAP MLA and Congress leader Alka Lamba. After which the big face of Congress Navjot Singh Sidhu has raised questions on Bhagwant Mann and has spoken of giving full support to Alka Lamba.
Kumar Vishwas also tweeted that the police had reached his house but later came to know that the statements made during the Punjab Assembly elections were against Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal. Alka Lamba also tweeted in support of Kumar Vishwas.
Alka wrote in the tweet, "Now you must understand why you wanted the police ... to intimidate the opposition and suppress their voice like the BJP." Shame on you Kejriwal.
The police also posted a notice to Alka Lamba stating that Ropar police had issued a notice to Congress leader Alka Lamba on April 14 to join the probe into the FIR registered against her. Lamba has been asked to appear before the investigating officer (IO) of Kharar (Sadar) police station on April 26. An FIR was registered against Lamba on April 14 on charges of assault, criminal conspiracy, and making provocative remarks.

On the matter, Congress leader and former PPCC Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu has raised his voice. He tweeted and targeted the Mann government. In his tweet, he wrote in support of Alka Lamba. He wrote, “Pb Govt is acting like @ArvindKejriwal’s puppet… Police action against @DrKumarVishwas & @LambaAlka ji shows that it is being used to silence his critics… Congress stands firmly with Alka ji… Will accompany her to the police station to protest against politicisation of Pb Police.” He also posted a photo of Arwind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann.
