Ending the speculations, Colours TV on Saturday announced that Rahul Vaidya’s close friend, singer Toshi Sabri will be joining the reality show Big Boss 14 as Rahul’s connection. The ‘connection week’ can change the game inside, as the connections will inform the contestants about the strategy, informing them about what the audience thinks about them and also communicate messages for them from the outside world.
In an interview to Hindustan Times, Toshi said he will advise Rahul to change the way he is playing the game, as he is playing good and has won ‘millions of hearts’. They both have been friends for 13 years and informed that he will enter Big Boss 14 just to support Rahul. “I don’t think he needs to change anything about the way he is playing,” Toshi said.
Toshi further added that he doesn’t agree with the criticism levelled against Rahul that he is Aly Goni’s shadow and has no game of his own. “They are good friends and it is wrong to label that as being a ‘shadow’ or something like that. Rahul is not someone who would make friends for the sake of the game.”
Aly is the only friend Rahul has in the show, whom he completely trusts and their connection is natural, said Toshi. “I don’t think anyone is carrying the other one on his shoulder,” he said.
“Yes, I have some special messages from Disha and his mother, which I will give him in the house,” Toshi told the newspaper.
Rahul Vaidya made headlines when he proposed Disha Parma in the show on National television, though Disha has not made anything public yet.
On Rahul and Disha’s wedding preparations which his mother has confirmed are going on, Toshi said that he has no idea about it but will soon speak to Rahul’s mother and ask her about the wedding preparations.
Toshi further said he feels Rahul will win the Big Boss 14 trophy as no one could against him. “You can say that I am biased because Rahul is my best friend but I don’t see anyone as a threat to him. I think he will win the show.”
Anyone in the show who can give tough competition to Rahul and can reach the finale is Rubina Dilaik, said Toshi.
Toshi had shared a prep video on Instagram captioned it “I am all set, are you?”
