It was definitely a perfect Christmas for Smriti Irani and her family! On Saturday (December 25), Union Minister’s daughter Shanelle got engaged to Arjun Bhalla, Smriti shares the picture of the couple on social media.
In the first picture, Arjun has been down on his knee and proposing to Shanelle at a picturesque location and in the second picture newly engaged have been smiling and posing towards the lens.
While sharing these beautiful pictures, Union Minister wrote a heartfelt note and also warned her son-in-law. The caption wrote, “To the man who now has our heart @arjun_bhalla welcome to our madcap family … bless you for you have to deal with a crazy man for a father in law & worse... me for a Saas … (you have been officially warned) God bless @shanelleirani #newbeginnings”.
The comment section was filled with heart and love emoticons, blessings as well as congratulatory messages. Wrestler Geeta Phogat wrote, “Many congratulations @smritiiraniofficial Ma’am and @shanelleirani,” whereas former Bigg Boss contestant Vikas Gupta wrote, “May they have #HaPeace always”.
On the other hand, Smriti’s close friends Ekta Kapoor and Mouni Roy expressed their happiness in the comment section. Bollywood producer wrote, “U prayed so hard for this… sooo happieeeee,” while the actress wrote, “Heartiest Congratulations”.
Smriti Irani has two more children – Zohr and Zoish, apart from Shanelle. While Zohr and Zoish are her children with Zubin Irani, however, Shanelle is the daughter of Zubin and her first wife Mona Irani.
