Sonu Sood temple built in Dubba Tanda village of Telangana, villagers say 'he is God for us'

The temple was inaugurated on Sunday in the presence of sculptor and local people

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood's image has become that of the Messiah. Thanks to the noble works he has done during the coronavirus lockdown. People of village Dubba Tanda in Telangana have honored the 47-years-old actor by building a temple in his name. According to the reports, the villagers have built this temple with the help of Siddipet district officials.

The temple was inaugurated on Sunday in the presence of sculptor and local people. Locals were seen doing ‘aarti’ at the bust of Sonu Sood. Local women in traditional attire sang folk songs.

Ramesh Kumar, who was involved in the temple planning organization said, "Sonu has attained the rank of God due to good works. So we built a temple for him. He is like God to us."

Ramesh also said that Sonu has helped the people of all 28 states of the country and has also received awards for his humanitarian work.
