The murder of Shiv Sena's Hindu leader Sudhir Suri has put a big question on the law and order of Punjab. Sudhir Suri on Friday was shot dead by miscreants despite heavy Police protection who was sitting on dharma outside Gopal Mandir in Amritsar, Punjab. After the incident, one of the shooters named Sandeep Sunny was caught while the other absconded from the spot. It was reported that the accused Sandeep arrived in a car on which a poster of Pro Khalistan leaders allegedly including Waris Punjab De Chief Amritpal Singh's photo was present. However, DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav refused to comment on it and stated that an investigation is underway and no angle has been ruled out.
Amidst reports of Sandeep Sunny's links with Waris Punjab De Chief Amritpal Singh, a video has surfaced on social media showing him meeting with the 'Pro Khalistan' vocalist cum leader. In the video, the shooter Sunny can be seen holding a baby and interacting with Amritpal Singh. For the unversed, Amritpal Singh is the president Waris Punjab De which was started by the late Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu. Amritpal is also a staunch Bhindrawale follower who is also under the scanner of the state as well as central security agencies. Not only this, the MHA has also cautioned Punjab security forces to be vigilant on Amritpal Singh.

In another development, terrorist Landa Harike has claimed responsibility for the murder of the Shiv Sena leader. Landa took responsibility in a Facebook post saying that 'This is just a beginning'.
Landa Harike in his post wrote that he is taking responsibility for the murder of the Shiv Sena leader and it is just the beginning. Landa further wrote that those who think that they are safe in Police protection, need to think twice. It is pertinent to mention here that, True Scoop News does not confirm if the post is authentic. Reportedly, Punjab Police Cyber Cell is currently probing the authenticity of the post by Rinda and in pursuit of it the officials are trying to locate the IP address.
