Indians were glued to television and social media as election results of five states were declared on Thursday. While the Aam Aadmi Party made it into history after winning Punjab elections for the first time, BJP kept its stronghold in the other four states. On the other hand, the grand old party Indian National Congress was not able to win in any of the states. Amidst the counting and declaration of poll results on almost every news channel, netizens dug out a hilarious viral video of Republic TV Editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami.

Netizens on Thursday took to Twitter handle and shared an old viral video of Arnab Goswami in which he mistakenly said 'Sunny Leone' instead of Sunny Deol. 

The video of Arnab Goswami which is getting viral on social media is of 2019 when the journalist was reading out the number of votes of BJP MP and Bollywood actor Sunny Deol. Mistakenly, Arnab Goswami took the same of Sunny Leone in place of Sunny Deol. In the video, you can hear, "Sunny Leone is leading with 500 votes". However, soon Arnab Goswami rectified his Sunny Leone remark and took Sunny Deol's name. As a result, netizens could not control their laughter and the video went viral in no time.

Coming back to the election results 2022 of five states i.e Punjab, UP, Goa, Uttarakhand, Manipur, BJP won in 4 states, while AAP registered a landslide victory in Punjab. Congress was reduced to mere 18 seats while AAP stormed to its maiden victory in Punjab winning 92 seats. In UP,  Yogi Adityanath has won an unprecedented 2nd term as Uttar Pradesh CM as SP failed to stop the saffron party from returning to power. BJP retained its majority with 263 seats, while SP won 135 seats and the Congress was reduced to 2 seats.
