Former Super Bowl Champion and running back in National Football League Marshawn Lynch has been booked by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in the case of ‘Driving Under Influence.

‘Driving Under Influence’ is a state when a person driving the vehicle is found in the position of heavy consumption of liquor or drugs and hence not allowed to drive for the public safety.

The officers on duty stopped Lynch at Fairfield Avenue and West Utah Avenue, just north of the famed Las Vegas Strip, and found that lynch was impaired and not in any position to drive safely.

He was arrested and taken to the Las Vegas city jail, informed of the case associated with the Super Bowl winner. A photo from the official Twitter handle of the police department was posted showcasing Lynch’s physical.

The Seattle Seahawks announced Lynch was hired as a special correspondent for his former team to "produce creative content for a variety of projects." The announcement was no longer on the team's website as the news about the incident broke out.

Lynch was nicknamed ‘Beast Mode’ for his ferocious, physical running style. He has represented himself in 12 seasons of the NFL with three teams, winning Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seahawks in February 2014. He officially announced his retirement in 2019 after having played with the Seahawks, Raiders, and Buffalo Bills.

Lynch is well known for his community work and activism in his hometown of Oakland, California -- cofounding the Fam 1st Family Foundation to support youth programs in the Bay Area.
