While the NCB is working on a pro-active mode in Sushant Singh Rajput's case, the CBI is silently doing its work. Sushant Singh Rajput's Chartered Accountant Rajat Mewati gave his statement to the CBI. Rajat's statement to the CBI might increase trouble for Shruti Modi and Rhea Chakraborty.

Rajat in his statement to the CBI said that when Sushant asked Shruti Modi in March to get statements of his bank account, Shruti instead of giving statements of Sushant called Rhea Chakraborty. Notably, Shruti Modi was the manager of Rhea Chakraborty and her name is also in the FIR filed by Sushant's family.

The message was sent by Sushant just 24 days back before he was found dead at his residence. Going by the testimony of Rajat Mewati to the CBI, before lockdown Sushant suspected some foul play with his money and bank accounts therefore he told Shruti Modi for the bank statements which was never showcased to him after the interference of Rhea Chakraborty.

Mewati went on to say that Sushant's brother-in-law OP Singh was in Mumbai in February and asked him for the actor's bank details. Interestingly, it was in  February an SOS had been sent to DCP Dahiya by OP Singh regarding Sushant. However, whether he got the details or not has not been revealed.
