Sushant Singh Rajput's dream project 'Chanda Mama Door Ke' to be revived as a tribute, Director says 'tough to cast anyone else'

Director Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan wants to give a tribute to the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput by making the film 'Chanda Mama Door Ke'. In an interview, Sanjay has announced this. The film was Sushant's dream project. Sushant's closest friend from the film industry, Sanjay wanted to make India's first space film with him. Sushant also went to NASA in 2018 to prepare for the film's character. 

However, due to the budget problems, this film kept on shifting, and ultimately it was shelved. After the death of Sushant, Sanjay stopped working on this film. Now Sanjay is looking for Sushant's replacement for this film.

Going by the reports of ETimes, Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan has decided to revive Chanda Mama Door Ke as his tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput. The filmmaker doesn’t plan to go on floors right away but is still busy finishing the script. He revealed that it will be difficult for him to cast anyone else in place of Sushant.

Sanjay in his previous interviews also talked about his relationship with Sushant. He said that their relationship had never deteriorated due to Sushant's dispute with the film producer. he was very close to me. We used to talk once every few days. There was always talk about books about films.
