The 5-day event of the 50th edition of the National Carrom Championship sets for its scintillating beginning on the 7th of November, yesterday at the prestigious Talkatora Indoor Stadium in the national capital and will mark the biggest celebration in its history to date.
This edition is itself special for its golden jubilee celebration apart from being the biggest in its history and in the country. This edition will see around 450 participants from around 28 states, which is the highest so far.
This edition’s inaugural ceremony was presided over by PK Sethi, Regional Manager, LIC, who was accompanied by a host of other dignitaries, including Josef Meyer President ICF, Maneesh Kohli - director of sports syndicate India PVT Ltd (Synco), Mohd. Atif Advocate Supreme Court, Bharti Narayan General Secretary AICF.

The year’s National Carrom Championship will also felicitate the event’s champions of yesteryear, besides the golden jubilee edition champions. The organizers have also made the provisions to stream the event live on the official YouTube channel of Synco and the All-India Carrom Federation.
The championship will mark its closure on the 11th of November after intriguing and high-voltage performances by the participants over the course of the event.
