Game Over, starring Taapsee Pannu and Vinodhini Vaidyanathan and directed by Ashwin Saravananm, is a brilliantly minimalist psychological drama. Taapsee has brilliantly delivered her character in the movie.

Versatile actress Taapsee Panu took to Instagram to thank her fans and followers, because she is all happy to see that response that she is receiving for her recent release ‘game over’.

Taapsee Pannu has become the go-to actress for women-centric films or those with strong, lively roles. She has stood out, thanks to her acting chops, whether it was Pink (2016), Naam Shabana(2017) or Mulk (2018). Her last release Manmarziyaan was great love triangle with her at the centre of it. And now, the lively performer will be seen in the Tamil-Telugu bilingual Game Over, which is being dubbed in Hindi and opening in cinemas on the same day.

She said that it usually happened for big South stars and even then, their films not release on same date. The movies are dubbed and aired on TV later.

“It must be a big deal for you as your south film is being dubbed and hitting the marquee in Hindi, it a huge pressure now. Even the way the poster is done – Taapsee in ‘Game Over’ – is very south thing to do. In Hindi, we don’t do that even for a Salman Khan film. But down South, the love for their stars is huge. The first time I saw the poster, I felt I have come a long way.

It was overwhelming, it has been quite a bit of a journey and I have reached somewhere credible”, she says.
Taapsee wrote, "Swapna looking at the overwhelming love for #GameOver be like .... you people are spoiling me ! I am getting used to all this love now so u better keep up
#GameOver in all 3 Languages Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Which one did u go for???”

Meanwhile, 'Game Over' is a thriller where the actress essays the role of a disabled woman. The film has been released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Taapsee is well known down in south for her stint in Tamil and Telugu films.

On the work front, she will be next seen in 'Tadka', 'Mission Mangal' and 'Saand Ki Aankh'.
