Recently, Tarun Chugh who is a member of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and also the National General Secretary of BJP recently tweeted upon the Major Security lapse that took place today in Punjab.
Tarun Chugh quoted in his tweet saying, "the most important and the most famous leader, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi faced a major security lapse today, in Punjab."
He further mentioned, "The country will never forgive Congress for the breach in security that took place today".
He posted this tweet by 3:19 pm and his tweets received 27 re-tweets and 65 likes. Among which some prominent leaders re-tweeted as well.
This incident occurred when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was traveling to the National Martyrs Memorial at Hussainwala by road. As they had to cancel the journey through helicopter due to poor weather.
When 30 Km from the destination his convoy was stuck as some protestors had blocked a flyover. Which resulted in a delay by 15-20 mins causing a threat to PM's security. Due to this they had to head back to the Bathinda Airport.
This incident occurred even after the necessary confirmation of necessary security arrangements by the DGP Punjab Police was made.
