Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao on Wednesday attended another lavish wedding despite facing sharp criticism from a cross-section of society and politicians over his alleged apathy towards gang rape and murder of young veterinary Doctor ’Disha’.

On November 28, the charred body of Disha (Changed Name) was found under a culvert of National Highway 44 after she went missing the previous night from Shamshabad toll plaza under the Cyberabad commissioner zone.

The CM, who arrived from Delhi after attending a big fat wedding on Tuesday night, drove to another wedding in Hyderabad on Wednesday morning. It was his third wedding attendance in six days while the entire country is protesting over the heinous crime against women.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao KCR, who has not visited the victim's family or even spoken to them over the phone, has sparked massive outrage by attending these weddings but it seems like the chief of state is unmoved.

The Cyberabad Police arrested four men last Friday in connection with the rape and murder and the court has granted seven-day police custody of accused Mohammad Areef, Jollu Shiva, Jollu Naveen and Chintakunta Chennakeshavulu.

Telangana government has set up a special court in Mahabubnagar district for speedy trial in the case.
