A shocking twist has come to the fore in Telangana’s Rajanna Sircilla district where an 18-year-old girl was kidnapped early in the morning today while going to a temple along with her father was actually a pre-planned incident.

The video of the girl’s kidnapping was on taking rounds on social media, but an hour ago she posted a video with her boyfriend (now husband) after getting married informing that the entire incident was plotted.

In the recently posted video, the girl said, "We got married a year ago, since I was a minor back then, my parents didn't accept & filed a case against my husband."

Continuing speaking in her language she said, "Now we are majors, so we got married. They are still objecting since my husband is a Dalit."

The couple got married again today. They have also sought police protection alleging threats from family. While the City SP of Sircilla went on to say detailing on the matter, “The alleged victim has given a statement through social media that she has gone with him willingly and they both got married in a temple.

While in the earlier video which had gone viral from the scene of the kidnapping the girl was accompanied by her father who made desperate attempts top save her daughter from being kidnapped, however, the girl remained successful in the entire established plot.

The incident occurred in Moodepalle village in Chandurthi Mandal of the district at around 5.30 am when the woman, a college student, and her father were proceeding to a temple, the police said, while briefing on the matter.

Later, a complaint was lodged with the police by the victim's father alleging that he was beaten up by the gang before his daughter was kidnapped. One of the accused was from the girl's village, he said.
