Telugu TV serials actor Amar Shashank has been arrested by the police on charges of misbehaving and abusing a woman. According to reports, on February 10, after the complaint of Amar's friend Swati's friend, Rayadurgam police arrested him and presented him in Kukatpally court. From where he has been sent to Charlapalli Jail.
A video of Amar Shashank is going viral on social media, in which he is seen shouting at a woman. According to information from police sources, Amar along with his friend Swati had gone to Srividya's house to inquire about a machine, as his friend Rashmi claimed to be near Srividya. There was a dispute between the two parties over this and then the matter reached the police.
It is being said that Rashmi, Srividya, and Swati used to run a boutique in Manikonda. Then they had differences and broke the partnership. Rashmi and Swati then claimed to have a sewing machine in Srividya's possession, leading to a big dispute.
On all the allegations, Amar said, "I was intentionally framed in this. Swathi and I went to Srividya's house to ask for the machine and she (Srividya) along with Uma and Ramesh initially agreed to give it. But later, they called Lakshmi Sri, Uma, and a local thug and refused to give the machine. Lakshmi deliberately shot the argument and made my portion viral on social media. Swathi and I were not on talking terms with Aparna and Ramesh for a while now and Aparna has been waiting for a chance to book me. Otherwise, there were almost 15 people in the room; why is that a carefully edited portion of mine put on social media?"
Amar Shashank was seen in the Telugu series 'Koilamma' and several other projects.
