A big terror plot in Punjab has been thwarted by security officers as Amritsar police have recovered a tiffin bomb and an IED. Five hand grenades and three detonators were also discoveredfrom the area near the Pakistani border. Following the discovery of these explosives, a warning was issued throughout Punjab.
DGP Dinkar Gupta stated that several weapons, grenades, and tiffin box explosives were discovered in Amritsar. The ID was placed in the children' tiffin box. It is found in Amritsar'sLopke.
Reportedly, the sound of a drone was heard near the border area following the sound of something falling late at night. The cops came were rushed to the site after receiving the informationand found the bombs during the search operation.
